Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 5 September 2026 at Manabendra Sarma Girls’ College, Rangia, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the distinguished philosopher, educationist, and former President of India. Students from different semesters, along with alumni, participated in the celebration. The students performed collaborative dances and organized various cultural programmes, adding enthusiasm and joy to the occasion. The Principal delivered a brief speech emphasizing the importance of the teacher–disciple relationship. Dr. Ramen Ch Nath and Dr. Mina Kalita also delivered speeches highlighting the role of teachers in shaping students’ personalities and contributing to the nation-building process. A collaborative cake-cutting ceremony was held, and the cake was distributed among the students. Teachers were felicitated with pens and diaries by the members of the Students’ Union. The celebration concluded successfully, reflecting the respect and gratitude of the students towards their teachers.
